THE PROBLEM

Dignity Should Not Be Disposable

Across Africa, access to affordable menstrual and incontinence products remains a significant challenge. Disposable products also create an ongoing household cost and substantial waste.

For people with disabilities, reduced mobility, older people and those recovering from surgery, conventional underwear can present another challenge: simply putting it on independently.

Project Dignity addresses both.

The goal is not merely to manufacture underwear. It is to manufacture dignity, independence, sustainability and choice at scale.

THE FACTORY

A World-Class Manufacturing Vision for Nigeria

Project Dignity is being developed as a modern manufacturing operation designed for domestic Nigerian demand, regional African markets and international export.

The planned facility incorporates production, quality control, warehousing, training, administration, staff welfare, accessibility and environmental considerations.

Underwear Designed Around the Person

Conventional underwear generally requires the wearer to step into it and pull it upwards.

Clip-Knix approaches the problem differently.

Our adaptive front-fastening concept is designed to reduce unnecessary bending and stretching and allow the garment to be put on while sitting, standing or lying down.

That makes the design particularly relevant to people with reduced mobility, older people, post-operative patients and others who may require greater accessibility.
